I don’t believe in angels or demons in the fire
But my life right now is balancing like a boulder on a wire
I can’t fall left or right but I feel I’ll fall right through
My soul’s as heavy as a planet, man, what else can I do?

Everything’s exposed, nerve endings raw
Got to try and forget everything I did and saw
They say if you believe to get on your knees and pray
But I don’t believe in miracles and there ain’t no other way
